Gratitude Matters is a project a friend and I came up with. The idea was a journaling app that encouraged people to focus on what they are grateful for.

The application was designed as a cross‑platform app built with .NET MAUI. It included platform‑specific features, such as push notifications.

At the time, there was a clear gap in the market—and apparently a big one—because Apple released their Journal app just as Gratitude Matters was in TestFlight. As a result, Gratitude Matters was shelved.

Recently, I’ve decided to revisit the project, this time as a self‑hosted model. I believe some people will appreciate a self‑hosted approach where they have full control of their data.
